Just making this thread about an issue that has started to occur recently. I think it started when PR2 got the new servers but basically what happens is you can only search for a level 3 times or the error message pops up saying “Error: Slow down a bit, yo”. When simming you use 4 accounts so every time you come out of a level this message appears I think. Maybe Jiggmin did this to stop simming or maybe its just a bug.
Yeah, please fix this, annoying if you’re simming or not.
inb4 post must be at least 20 characters.
Looking for the artifact and doing the quest it would always appear when I was exiting out of levels and switching pages.
Pretty sure it’s a type of DDoS protection, although I could be wrong.
You can possibly get this error if your CMOS battery is dying. Check to see if your system time is slower or faster than the real.
It’s happening to everyone, though
Maybe the server’s CMOS battery is dying : ()
Do you think you or Jiggmin could somehow fix this issue? It’s quite a major issue.
I will ask him about it and see if this is truly an error or if he intentionally did this
If it is a DDoS protection, it’s a massively ineffective one. At that point, the user is already able to send requests that the server must handle, and thus DDoS is already possible.
Needs to get fixed ASAP, because it’s annoying when you are for example searching for the artifact.
I wonder if @Vaza arti finder bot is affected by this error. hue hue
It started when Jiggmin upgraded the servers, so I doubt Vaza had anything to do with it.
For the last time, I don’t have any arti finder bots ._.
no i mean like if it makes his bot slower
Even if Jiggmin knew about it (which I’m sure he doesn’t), I’m sure he would do anything about it. Bigger fish to fry, as they say
Yes you are sure he would do anything (something) about it.
Has there been any response on this? @Clock88
Yeah, someone had set up a script to run different searches over and over again. That search is a weak spot that can bring everything down, so I put in the rate limit. I’ll see if I can tweak it to not be so annoying.
